INFORMED THE PERSON-IN-CHARGE (PIC) OF THE SMOKING COMPLAINT AND CONDUCTED A SITE INVESTIGATION AND INTERVIEW. THERE WAS NO SMOKING OBSERVED DURING THE INVESTIGATION. FURTHERMORE, NO EVIDENCE ON IN-DOOR SMOKING WAS OBSERVED (E.G. NO ASH TRAYS FOUND AT THE BAR, ETC.). THE PIC INFORMED ME THAT STAFF AND CUSTOMERS SMOKE OUTSIDE AND HE WILL ENSURE THAT HIS STAFF ARE INFORMED OF SMOKING RULES AND REGULATION. IN ADDITION, A NO SMOKING SIGN WAS OBSERVED AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE. LASTLY, A COPY OF THE 'SMOKE-FREE ILLINOIS ACT' FAQ WAS PROVIDED TO THE PIC.
NO FURTHER ACTION REQUIRED. |
